The German Science and Humanities Council (Wissenschaftsrat, WR) is part of a network of European science and technology advisory bodies. The network’s purpose is to exchange information on science policy developments in the various countries. The WR participates in the network’s annual meetings. In addition, bilateral meetings are held with other European advisory bodies.
