Statement of European Science, Technology and Innovation Councils on the Current Situation of the Academic Community in Iran (9 November 2022)
The signatories of this statement are deeply concerned about the situation of the academic community in the Islamic Republic of Iran. For several weeks, protests have taken place at various Iranian universities where many students, professors, and other university members have experienced violence and/or been arrested by security forces.
